We were talking last class about utopias. Is like, it is a word invented by people who think the world is a mess, and that it is impossible to fix it. Don't you think the world is perfect? Have you ever take a minute to think about life?, about the world?, how it works? the nature? the galaxy?
Have you studied a little bit the way your body works? I think that if you had ever think about that you wouldn't say the world is not perfect. Almost, if you read a bit about evolution, you'll realized the way the nature evolves and it is each time more perfect.
That something is perfect, doesn't mean it has no problems, and it is EVERYTHING ALRIGHT. To be perfect, is to work, in a way that it doesn't dissapear, meaning, it keeps on working, and in the way it can be, to evolve.
for example, we are all perfect. You will think "I'm not perfect becouse, i have this and that" but you are wrong, becouse, as human beings, we are all perfect. Our nature is to think and act the way we think, to have a concious, and that is the way we are. You think you are not perfect?, I think you are wrong.
The same way I think with the world we live. It works in a perfect way. And if there is something wrong, is becouse God, who is not perfect becouse he is the perfection itself, wanted it to be like that.
An utopia, is where we live, enjoy it!

you are wrong, evolution has no relation with perfection, evolution is relationed with circunstances, the need of adaption to the actual enviroment.
you said nature evolves and it is each time more perfect. If it is perfect why the need to be more perfect? when we talk about Perfection we can not talk about grades of perfection.It is perfect or it is imperfect¿?¿?

jaja I agree in some way to what jose says because all the details that life has makes it perfect. for example the perfection that our body has that tou can't belive it works like that. on the other hand, i think that what jose said:"You think you are not perfect?, I think you are wrong." is his point of view, others may think different.
I agree with jose maria only when he talk about the perfection of the nature, or about the perfection of how human body works (as ernesto has said).I think that we are not perfect as he said because, if we where like that, we will not kill each other or make someone suffer or fight with others only for power...
I agree in everything with José María and his post make me think and reflect a lot about parfection and the world we live in. He is right when he said that the world is perfect, and perfection doesn't mean not to have problems, it means to work and try to be happy althouh you have an obstacle; you could try to pass it. And, finally i think that this word, UTOPIA s a wonderful word tu discuss about
I agree in what Agustin said...if we are perfect we can't evolve more that what we are now...I think we are far away from being perfect and we need a lot more of evolution
