IMAGINE

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
And no Hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no country
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
Maybe someday you will join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no posessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
Or Brotherhood of Man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
And maybe someday you will join us
And the world will be as one
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
Maybe someday you will join us
And the world will be as one...

Lennon was asking us to imagine a place where things that divide people (religion, possessions, etc.) did not exist. He felt that would be a much better place.

One of the "classics" in music, almost a hymn for humanity, don´t you think? This song reminds me of that word UTOPIA we were discussing about some days ago. What do you ALL think?

never heard this song but the lyrics are great. I makes you wonder how that perfect world would be...
